Tim Roust Help build a navigation bar for the Songbook website (Looking for help with PHP , Cascading Style Sheets and Macromedia Flash)

I plan on spending the summer going through all of the recordings and transcriptions I've made this last year and organizing them into a collection of online songbooks. But before I can get to any of that work, I need to design a user interface that will allow people to view each page of the songbook online.

Gina Feed us a Fetus.

Now, here I am. With a life going for me in the metal industry, creating a name for myself as a metal music journalist. Promoting, reviewing, interviewing, etc etc etc. And I can't get up and leave and take a hiatus to go travel again. I wont let myself abandon my responsibilities like that. Though I think about traveling every day, I know that wasn't the life meant for me. I can't find security in insecurity. But I still have my fiddle. And I'm still playing. Not as often as when I was on the… Continue

Gina I have a guitar for trade. ....and a freeschool, sheet music, and my bad pick up lines.

I was extremely drunk when I approached a fiddler at a party I went to last week. I assume he wasn't very pleased with my blunt flirtations and bad pick up lines (I have no game. Give me vodka and the hilarity ensues), but I did find out that he teaches at a freeschool in downtown Olympia. They have banjo and fiddle lessons every Tuesday from 7-9 pm, except on the first Tuesdays of every month. 610 Columbia Street. I'll be checking it out tonight, since I am currently stuck and can't teach myse… Continue

Gina Texas. Texas, Texas, Tex-ass... (meaningless rambled meanderings)

I am currently visiting my mom in Dallas. First time I have been here in four years. Now I remember why I didn't want to go back and avoided contact with my mom for so long.

I'm remembering what it's like to be a housie and remembering how lazy and inactive it had made me when I went from the streets to my own apartment in Olympia. It's rather uncomfortable, in my own opinion. I never did like this stagnant feeling.

But fiddling has progressed. Sorta. I still suck and probably… Continue

Nikki R.G. me and music in europe

Hey everyone...whoever reads this...

I'm in europe right now, Denmark to be exact. I was just vaguely wondering if anyone who has been here recently has any advice about where to go and what to do to absorb good folk music - listening, learning, amazing museums, etc. I have gotten a little bit of advice from people here (e.g., Galway is the place to be in Ireland), but the more information the better. Anything you've got concerning any country could be helpful and interesting. I don't
